I just moved down to Boise from California. Since my 21 year old son was visiting, we decided to try this tour. We were the only two participants during the tour which was a little disappointing because we were hoping to connect with others. Bob was an excellent tour guide, very knowledgeable. Wonderful range of culinary choices and presentation of the Boise culture. Loved so many things about this experience. However, the biggest disappointment was during our dining experience at the Mai Tai restaurant. The decor and ambiance was great and the food would have been even better if it wasn’t cold. It appeared the food had been sitting for awhile before we arrived and therefore was a big let down. Decided to box up the rest of the cold food. On the plus side, this gave us more stomach room to enjoy the delectable sweet treats from The Chocolat Bar.

My girlfriend and I had a great time on the tour. Our guide, Bob, was very well informed and friendly. He was great about giving us space when we were eating so it didn't feel like we were being watched like hawks while trying to eat. He had plenty of information about the history of Boise and the restaurants we went to. My only complaint was that we paid for the alcohol paired tour but we didn't actually get any alcohol. I would have mentioned but I didn't realize until the second to last stop. Not a big deal, regardless, I would recommend clarifying at the beginning. Aside from that it was a fantastic tour and we are definitely going to be attending another one.

We loved this tour. We did this first thing on arrival to Boise and we had a great overview of the city, places we wanted to visit and go back to eat! Loved this tour.

My mother and I visited Boise, ID as part of our mission to see all 50 states. We started off our short trip with this tour on a Saturday, and it was an excellent way to not only check out the food scene in the city, but also learn more about the history of Boise and orient ourselves around the city. We are both huge foodies, so it was fun to try different cuisines and local eateries. The portions were very generous, great variety, and our tour guide Bob was wonderful. We loved a couple of the places we ate at so much, that we went back again two days later. We chose the non-alcohol pairing to save room for checking out local breweries later in the day, but according to a few others in the group, the alcohol pairings were worth it. I would highly recommend this tour!

It’s all walking and we stopped at 8 locations, all different, all lovely. Boise has a plethora of food options and the tour guide, Bob, was sweet and very informative. I would do it again!

Had a great time with Ha, a wonderful guide with lots of information for us. The stops were all great, and all the food was wonderful. Everyone at each stop was so kind, and someone took the time to speak with us, giving a little history or tidbit about the served food. Thoroughly enjoyed the time.

We had a fabulous time touring downtown Boise and enjoying a variety of fantastic restaurants. Michael our tour guide was friendly and very knowledgeable about the culture of the city and not only the restaurants we visited but others in the area too. Highly recommend this tour.

Small group with a friendly and informative tour guide. It was fun to walk the downtown zone and be told about the history of old buildings and the Basque culture. The food was varied and divine.

This was a great event to attend as a work outing for 8 co-workers since we work in an office downtown. I had never known about quite a few of these restaurants but will certainly be coming back to them now I know what they offer. They all had something very unique to offer and it demonstrated how diverse the food scene in Boise really is! Our tour guide was very friendly, patient and efficient. Perhaps a little more research should be done on Freak Alley as a bystander suggested factual discrepancies, but otherwise she knew the city well and you could tell how much she has comes to love it. Thank you so much for presenting such a wonderful event!
