This trip was booked for a seven-year-old grandson. He was engaged actively in building and playing with the onsite activities. He enjoyed the rides as well. It was an afternoon filled with fun for him and for us watching him enjoy everything.
I expected better from this place, especially after all the glowing reviews. In the very first room of the experience, the "factory tour," most of the interactive displays were either switched off or out of order. The next attraction, "Kingdom Quest," was a ride on a track where you shot at targets on a screen using a laser gun. Our guns did not work at all until halfway through the ride. The attendants told us we could ride again in a different car, but my kindergartener was already disillusioned by it and didn't want to try again. So we went into the main room, where the VR experience was down (in fairness, we knew about that one ahead of time) and most of the block bins throughout the room were empty. We'd been upsold on an "activity pack" which was a set of cards on a lanyard that you could stamp as you did each experience. The activity pack immediately started shedding cards, although it didn't really matter because the ink was dried out at every stamping station we tried. Finally, we decided to give the 4-D film a try, only for one of the two projectors to freeze up 30 seconds into the movie, rendering it unwatchable. There was no employee monitoring the film inside the theater so it took some doing to find someone to alert. At that point we gave up. I will say that the three things we did that DID work -- Merlin's Apprentice, the Ninjago soft play area, and Miniland -- were cool, and the staff was friendly and attentive (not to mention they refunded our money immediately when we asked...I would never have asked, but the other family we were with were furious). I would have understood one or two things being out of order, especially as they're still likely running on a skeleton crew due to post-pandemic recovery, but there is no excuse for half the experience being broken. This place has made us VERY unlikely to try any other lego-related attraction in the future.
The staff is excellent , Edwin, was in the restaurant and greeted us on the way out Dee was at the front door and sold us our passes after a thourough explenation of what each consisted of and Jaycee she was in the master builder room and helped us make our displays ,if i got any of the names wrong please let me know were all excellent and helped make our visit fun , the place is clean and it kept my son busy for a fun afternoon I would definitely recommend it here.
Went with my niece and her 2 and 5 year old daughters. They loved it! Everything was open. They danced, took pictures with a character, built cars and raced them(my car lost). They climbed in the play space, and loved the slide. They loved the pink and purple flower section. It was hard to get them to leave that area as there were staff helping them create flowers. The rides were awesome, perfect for their ages. they also likes stamping their activity cards. We even had the opportunity to meet the GM, Ms. Laura Whitman. She was walking through just checking out how things were running. She told us about some of the upcoming activities. We were quite impressed with her proffesionalism, the cleanliness of the attraction and how pleasant the staff were. We definately would reccomend LegoLand for our friends.
We found an online coupon for one child admission free with adult Admission and my 2 year old got in free. So essentially we went for $10 a person for three of us. We spent 2.5 hours here. There is limited stuff for kids 2 years and under but my son didn’t seem to mind that, he just enjoyed running around and moving Legos from one bin to another while our 5 year old built stuff and raced cars. The play zone was also fine, he got to go in and explore the 1st level while the older one did the slide. The Duplo area was fun for both as was karaoke. We did the first ride when we came in and both liked it. I wasn’t impressed with the cafe, but there was enough space to grab a table and enjoy snacks we brought. Look for coupons online! They also had a deal where Girl Scouts in uniform got in free. I’m not giving it a 5 because at regular price it would not have been worth the value. In fact, I took the kids alone because we didn’t see it being worth spending any more and after the visit I’m glad we didn’t spend anymore $$ there than the $10 a person.
I have to say the staff in this place is amazing! They went out of their way to make my little boy who got sick feel so much better. We went to this place this Saturday but my little guy didn't feel well and we had to leave. They gave us a voucher good for one year so my little guy can return when he feels better. They also went out their way to make him feel better by giving him a little lego soldier and told him to be strong to fight the germ. I love that!
