Booked the starline hop on hop off for a trip in Hollywood and Santa Monica. I only had one day in LA for sight-seeing do I wanted to see as much as possible. I was told by phone operator where my closes stop was and waited for one hour and 20 minutes for the bus to arrive. There was no shade or seating at stop. When bus finally arrived the driver scanned my QR code and said I was on the wrong bus and go get off. I got off the bus and a different tour company pulled up, I got on their bus and they scanned my QR code and said had first bus was the bus I needed and it would be back in an hour. Which would have been 1 pm and the buses stop at 4 pm. So I got no value for the ticket because it was too hot to wait another hour in direct sunlight for one or two stops before the buses stopped for the day. I have used this service in multiple foreign countries and have never had an issue. Complete waste of time and money. Metro was free and saw more of downtown LA than standing at one stop for an hour and paying $60 fir the privilege of waiting for a bus. Very dissatisfied. Asked for a refund and never received response.

The driver was basically gouging to get tips at the end of the tour and was straight up shaming people who didn't give him a tip.

Not worth the money spent, the drivers were not to friendly or helping with info on times. The add says it's 24 hrs however it's only from 11 am to 430, it takes them a long time to get you to a location,, then they leave you wherever you are. I had end up taking FREE public transportation after the driver said the last stop was in Hollywood and my room was in Venice! It's not worth it I wouldn't recommend it to anyone if you plan on getting off.

Our driver took us back to our car after the tour was over. He went the extra mile. Very friendly staff. Buses ran on time.

My wife and I took the tour on October 2 and we’re passed by a tour bus and had to wait 45 minutes in the hot sun for the next bus. We’re both senior citizens and when I contacted the company I’ve basically been ignored. No customer service whatsoever!!

Very informative had a great time learned a lot of interesting facts highly recommend Was impressed tour bus was clean driver was very friendly great way to make your trip enjoyable I took both root growth enjoy getting up close to tourist exhibit that you couldn’t get to in a carI gave this five stars because I truly believe I could’ve had a better experience

Had the worst experience! The bus driver gave us a pamphlet that had the wrong pick up times. So we had to wait longer for pick up. Not clear directions.

one of the best hop on hop off i have been on, so many great stops all over LA! multi route in santa monica & hollywood and i heard there was a thrid route in downtown la area. best way too get around the whole LA area, hitting all the major tourist attractions. good price, great staff, nice double decker busses. i would say i would like them too add more buses, so you dont have to wait 45-hour between busses.

Was disappointed in the start and end tour times as they started in the latter part of the morning which left little time to get to preferred destinations and then little time to experience as end times seemed a little early as well. each of the two days we ended up needing to get an Uber as the drop-off location at end of the tour left us miles away from the location in which we boarded. I would just suggest revisiting operating hours and potentially a number of busses as the wait time was extensive. I have utilized the hop on - hop off busses both in Europe and the US and this is the only time I felt that our time was limited
