Captain Ryan was a tremendous tour guide. He was very informative and answered all of our inquiries. He obviously had an excellent understanding of the Port and the comings and goings You could not have ask for a nicer guide.

This tour was well worth the money, extremely interesting and fun! Capt Ryan was an excellent guide. Very interesting information and a neat experience. Something different to do in Savannah for tourist or locals.

What an outstanding tour with Captain Ryan. His knowledge of local history and the port was amazing. I cannot recommend this tour highly enough-what a way to experience the busiest port in the country!

Very highly recommended. I did the port tour with the addition of the wildlife refuge which is available on the Outside website. We started with a brief history of Savannah which put the sights we saw into perspective. Being able to see the inner workings of the port was fascinating, especially the unloading of the container ships. A few minutes later we were in a completely different world exploring the refuge. Wildlife sightings included dolphins, a bald eagle, hawks and several others. Ryan was an excellent guide. His love for the outdoors as a native Georgian made the tour even better. Tip: You’ll be in an open-air boat so dress accordingly. It was a chilly day but comfortable with layers.

Captain Ryan was excellent! Thoroughly enjoyed the Savannah Port Tour and glad that we could do this Tour from Savannah versus Hilton Head. Lots of people want to tour from the Savannah area. Very Educational for all of us.

Impressive & Very Educational! Kids were thoroughly entertained with the ships & all the activity of the port. Loved the boat ride, even saw dolphins!

Getting up close to the container ships to see the unloading process. An small group tour so we had extensive interaction with the captain/guide. He was upbeat and entertaining.

WOW just completed the Savannah Port tour with Captain Boo. For our clan it was definitely a high point of our Savannah visit. A smaller boat (smaller than a river boat) on the river with a knowledgeable guide is the best way to really move around and see the port and all the activity. Our 10:00 tour was timed perfectly. We saw lots of ship and port activity. Highly recommend this one!
