Meet your guide at your central Santa Barbara hotel and board a comfortable air-conditioned luxury passenger van. Enjoy the views as you leave the city behind and head into the Santa Ynez Valley to explore the vineyard filled countryside.

Explore the stunning vineyards and quaint towns of the Santa Ynez Valley while our guide shares some of the history and wine production secrets of the valley. We will visit three full production wineries and lunch will be enjoyed amidst the vineyards.

We spend about an hour at each winery and allow approximately an hour for lunch at one of those stops.

Originally booked a bike tour with the company however bike tour required a minimum of 4 so we were swapped to private tour of Santa Ynez Valley. Tour company was excellent informing us when we made booking and giving us options. We kept it open in case more booked but day prior they gave us option of refund as well the swap (which we accepted). Tour itself was nice way to spend day. Pleasant drive and countryside. Tour guide was friendly and gave us a lot of information about the area. The picnic lunch was amazing - really wholesale, tasty sandwich. Nice touch was table laid out with tablecloth all surrounded by vineyards. Some opportunities to improve would be reduced length of time at smaller vineyards - a tasting can be done in 20 mins or so and if no option to buy glass of wine waiting around can be a bit boring. It would have been nice to spend some time in the town where the shops were instead of longer at the small wineries.
